Resolved Question: Any Great Dane rescues in southern california?

I am looking for a great dane rescue in southern california.. I cant find any besides the gentle giants rescue in norco, ca. They wont adopt to me because I am 24 and they require you to be 25... even though I own my own home and have a healthy, happy great dane already. I would prefer to get a dane from a rescue but will go to a breeder if I cant find one. Thanks!!! :) Thanks for the info about gentle giants!!! I was just reading some pretty bad reviews... apparently its very hard to get a dane there, even with a perfect application. people were saying they charge 900$ for their dogs and the dogs have been very sickly, skinny and with worms... thats pretty horrible for a "rescue"... my husband was saying the place looks fake when we were looking at the website.
